Getting between HLS and the IMU
The Hamilton Lugar School is very close to the Indiana Memorial Union / Biddle Hotel, located just a 10-minute walk through campus away.

The IMU is located at the heart of Indiana University's campus at:

Getting to the IMU
- Take IN-37 S toward Bloomington. (turns into I-69)
- Exit I-69 S onto IN-45 N/IN-46 E.
- Turn right on N. College Avenue.
- Turn left on W. Seventh Street.
- Take I-69 N toward Bloomington.
- Exit I-69 N onto W. Bloomfield Road.
- Continue onto W. Second Street.
- Turn left on S. Henderson Street.
- Continue straight onto S. Indiana Avenue.
- Turn right on E. Seventh Street.
- Take IN-46 W toward Bloomington.
- Continue straight onto E. Third Street.
- Turn right on S. Indiana Avenue.
- Turn right on E. Seventh Street.
- Take IN-45 N/IN-46 E toward Bloomington.
- Turn right on N. College Avenue.
- Turn left on E. Seventh Street.

Hotel Accommodations
The Biddle Hotel
Primary hotel accommodations for Indiana University visitors are on-site at the IMU Biddle Hotel. Space at the Biddle Hotel is limited, so make your reservation as soon as possible.

Parking
Parking near the Hamilton Lugar School
Parking is available at the East Parking Garage (upper deck only), located at 150 N Eagleson Ave, Bloomington, IN 47405. This is the closest parking garage to the Hamilton Lugar School.
Parking Rates:
Monday-Friday
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.: $3 per hour
6 p.m. to midnight: FREE
Saturday and Sunday
FREE
Parking at the IMU
Visitors may park in either of the IMU pay lots adjacent to the building. Both lots are open from 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
- IMU pay lot #1 is located along the east side of the building, just south of Seventh Street. The entrance is at the intersection of Seventh Street and Forrest Avenue.
- IMU pay lot #2 is located on the north side of the building, directly across Seventh Street. The entrance is on Eighth Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Forrest Avenue.
Parking Rates:
Monday through Friday
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: $2.50 per half hour
7 p.m. to midnight: $1.75 per half hour
Saturday and Sunday
$1.50 per half hour
Daily maximum of $28 per car per entrance to the lot.
For guests staying at The Biddle Hotel, parking is $6/car.
Airport Information
The nearest commercial airport to Bloomington is in Indianapolis. For those flying in for a visit, please book all tickets to the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and arrange ground transportation to Bloomington.
** Do NOT book flights to the Bloomington, Illinois airport! This airport is a 3.5 hour drive from our campus! **
The Indianapolis International Airport is located 45 minutes north of Bloomington, and there are several options available to get you to and from the airport:
Shuttle Services
If you would like to take a shuttle to and from the airport, we recommend booking through Go Express Travel. This company has a shuttle which runs directly between the airport and the Indiana Memorial Union at a cost of $29 per trip. The shuttle also makes stops at several local hotels. For a full list of shuttle stops, please visit the GoExpress Travel website.
* Make sure to book your shuttle reservation in advance, as they are likely to sell out as travel dates approach.
Rideshare Services
If you would prefer to ride in a private vehicle from the airport to Bloomington, Uber and Lyft are both available in our area. However, these services are typically more expensive than the available shuttles.
Car Rental
